A wonderful hole in the wall coffee shop, Donut Counter will transport you to a time when society still valued a good chocolate dip. The donuts are the best for miles around and are served alongside coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. Moreover, as you're making your way through a half dozen, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to take in the shop's ambience, reminiscent of the Timmies of youth.

Came for the first time while on shift doing deliveries for Ubereats. Their tuna sandwich is one of the best that I have tasted. Highly recommended visiting the location!

They're like the old school donuts we used to get from donut shops as a kid, minus the cigarette stink. I think they make them fresh there. None of that Tim Hortons garbage. I went again after all these years and the service is really nice there and the staff are nice. Got 6 donuts. Boston Cream: pretty good. Appears to be actual cream, pretty fluffy, not too sweet, just right vanilla dip sprinkle: what you would expect. Fluffy and sweet crueller: it's really fluffy but it's not sweet enough, tastes rather eggy. I would pass on this one. Texture also isn't great Chocolate donut: not sweet enough but texture good Plain dipped: fluffy but not sweet enough Lemon filled: a bit sour for my taste. Could be sweeter Was about 8 for a half dozen

My dad used to take me here to get a sprinkle donut while he got his coffee when I was younger. In later years I would come back on my own after school for a weekly cinnamon bun! Love this place and its affordable pastries

Great little corner for coffee and donuts! My favourites gotta be Honey Dip, not to sweet and fluffy dough. We’ll be back.

During my visit, I was captivated by the variety of donut flavors, each promising a unique taste experience. The Boston Cream donut stood out with its fluffy texture and balanced sweetness, while the vanilla dip sprinkle offered the comforting familiarity we all crave. However, not all selections hit the mark; some flavors, like the lemon-filled, could benefit from a touch more sweetness, proving that taste is subjective and every visit is a new adventure.

As the day goes on and the shop buzzes with activity, the friendly staff ensure that each customer feels welcomed. This sense of community adds to the charm of Donut Counter, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and newcomers alike. So next time you're in the area, make sure to grab a half dozen of those heavenly donuts and perhaps a sandwich to fuel your day. You won't regret it!
